The Lantern Resort, Jefferson NH

This is one of those campgrounds that is all about the kids! The Lantern is right across the street from our favorite place, Santa’s Village! We were so busy having fun that I didn’t get very many pictures. I was surprised that the campground wasn’t full of people but it was a nice change finding a half empty campground to spend our time at.

We typically find ourselves in more “woodsy” less “bougie” campgrounds so when my sister first booked this one I did half an eye roll because for us this was BOUGIE! But let me tell you what, I can see why she likes this campground so much. It truly does have a lot to offer!

We stayed at sites 64 and 65. There really isn’t much room at site 65- the EZ Up wouldn’t fit on the site with the camper and truck. Our sites were in a perfect location though. They were up by the seasonal sites and just far enough from the pool that you couldn’t hear the noise.

I don’t have everything figured out BUT I have figured out that campgrounds that offer trash pick up deserve a gold star. It’s something so simple but means so much. At the end of the day it is just so annoying to have to walk to the dumpsters so having someone to come and take that task away from me is amazing!

Tyler and George thought that the tractor ride was a total blast. When they drove by the site on the ride I ran out to see them and George was completely beaming! We all enjoyed walking around the campground. It was refreshing to walk around such a clean campground!

This campground has surprised me by making it on our list of campgrounds to visit again. But I would like to thank this campground for showing us the bougie side of camping. Because of that we are looking forward to booking a “full bougie” campground next year!
