About Me 

My husband and I have always loved hiking, camping and exploring the outdoors. It was only fitting that when we had kids we wanted to share our love of the outdoors with them too. Lucky for us they took to nature right away and so our Trips Around The Sun began! 

I didn’t always spend my life camping in campers. I camped in a tent my whole life, right up until my kids came into my life. I even camped in a tent in Rangeley, Maine during a frost! Whether you are camping in a tent, pop up or 37ft camper, at the end of the day we are all campers looking for the same thing. Quality time outdoors. 

Find the right campground, the GEM of them all. That’s my goal every year when I booked our multiple camping trips with friends and family. Over the years I have found so many great campgrounds, and some that I wouldn’t go back to. I have found tons of tried and true ‘must have’ camping items, and right here on this site is where I intend to share all of my finds.
